Donna & Gary would like to welcome you to Orwin House Bed & Breakfast.

Orwin House is a family run Bed & Breakfast in Brodick on the Isle of Arran "Scotland in Miniature". We are ideally situated for walkers, cyclists and golfers. Orwin House B&B overlooks Brodick Golf Course and out over Brodick Bay and it's sandy beaches, with the majestic Goatfell Summit only 4 miles to the north and Brodick village centre only 0.5 mile to the south with it's bars, restaurants, Golf course and Supermarket. There is a bus stop right outside the door so you really can unwind and leave the car behind and adventure on foot or bike.

Two minutes walk can have you enjoying the treatments of The Auchrannie Spa Resort be it massage sauna or spa,

Our accommodation is warm, friendly and relaxing we have four rooms three en-suite and one with private bathroom. The three en-suite rooms can be either double or twin rooms depending on guests' requirements and all rooms have HD ready digital televisions & DVD players, Free WiFi access, hairdryers & tea & coffee making facilities. We offer drying facilities for walkers & cyclists and covered secure storage for cycles. Cooked Breakfasts with cereal and yoghurt to start the day and packed lunches and evening meals can be provided on request. We welcome everyone to try a little bit of Arran.

Packed Lunches, Ironing facilities, Laundry Washing/Drying , Hairdryers in all rooms , Early breakfast by request. Cycle storage, Drying facilities for wet walking and cycling equipment plus free WiFi access.

Road Directions

Orwin House Bed & Breakfast is 0.8 miles & 5 minutes by car. Turning right from Brodick Harbour and the Tourist information Office head north along Shore Road past the Co-operative supermarket, passing Ormidale Sports Pavilion on your left keep to the main road as it bends to the right and we are situated on the left overlooking Brodick Golf Course at the second turning for the Auchrannie Spa Resort with a red Post Office letter box on the corner.

Public Transport Directions

From the nearest information centre:- Orwin House Bed & Breakfast is 0.8 miles or 15minutes walk or 5 minutes by car. Turning right from Brodick Harbour and the Tourist information Office head north along Shore Road past the Co-operative supermarket, passing Ormidale Sports Pavilion on your left keep to the main road as it bends to the right and we are situated on the left overlooking Brodick Golf Course at the second turning for the Auchrannie Spa Resort with a red Post Office letter box on the corner.

By Bus from the Ferry & Tourist Information Office take the North bus to Brodick Primary School. Before the School we have a bus stop right outside our front door just after the silver sign to The Auchrannie Spa Resort at the junction of Shore Road and Glencloy Road.

Getting there by railway:- Trains are available to Glasgow Central with connecting trains direct to Ardrossan Harbour Station and a two min walk under a covered walkway to the ferry terminal. Rail tickets can be bought direct to Brodick which include the ferry ticket but ferry tickets can be bought online at www.calmac.co.uk or at the terminal. Foot passengers don't normally need to book in advance but please check availability.

Getting there by aeroplane:- Glasgow and Prestwick Airports. Trains are available from both Glasgow and Prestwick Airports with connecting trains direct to Ardrossan Harbour Station and a two min walk under a covered walkway to the ferry terminal Ferry tickets can be bought online at www.calmac.co.uk or at the terminal, foot passengers don't normally need to book in advance but please check availability. Rail tickets from the airports can be bought on the train or in advance. Taxis can be booked and take about 30 minutes £18.00 - £25.00.

Getting there by ferry:- Ferry at Ardrossan Harbour to Brodick. Ferry tickets can be bought online at www.calmac.co.uk or at the terminal. Foot passengers don't normally need to book in advance but please check availability.

Alternative Ferry is from Kintyre and Claonaig to Lochranza at the north of the island and then Car, Bus or Taxi to Brodick about 15 miles check availability and booking at www.calmac.co.uk
