Go over the Skye bridgeon A87 to the roundabout (if you have caught the ferry from Mallaig you join the road just before Broadford) turn right towards Portree.
Travel through Broadford then 18 miles on turn left at Sligachan (signposted for Dunvegan). Follow this road for another 20 miles through stunning scenery and you reach the outskirts of Dunvegan. There is a 40mph sign and a white church on the left, you turn left here labelled Glendale.
Past the fire station on the left , over the cattle grid and out of the village. The road takes a sharp turn right, DO NOT go straight on to Orbost. Ignore the small lane on the right, go past a big shed on the left beside Osdale river and then take the second fieldgate on the left - this is our drive. The distance from the church to here is 1.7 miles
Continue up the drive 1/2 mile and through another gate to keep the sheep out. Osdale farmhouse is right at the end of the drive.
From the nearest information centre:- From the Tourist Information Centre in Dunvegan, go through village on A863 to pedestrian speed limit, turn right to Glendale (B884) past water treatment plant - second gate on left.
