    The Property 
    Osprey Lodge 17 is a privately owned 2 bedroom holiday property that doesn't disappoint when you arrive and see its location. You enter via the spacious deck area, and that is your first sighting of the view over the golf course to Loch Goil and the mountains of the Argyll Forest Park. You are just minutes from the Hotel & Leisure Centre making this a pretty special location.
     
    The A-framed design has 2 stories and a unique layout on the ground floor. From the entry hall area you walk into the lounge which has floor-to-ceiling windows so as to make the most of the view. The lounge continues in an open plan to the dining and roomy kitchen area. This makes up one great living space, perfect for families and friends to enjoy sharing time together.
     
    Unique to this lodge is a seperate ground floor TV room, ideal for 1 or 2 people to enjoy some 'away' time, perhaps to catch up on their favourite soap or sport.

    One mile from Lochgoilhead village,  the Drimsynie Estate Holiday Village is a popular choice for families and groups of friends wanting to have a range of activities, places to eat and entertainment on site. Safe to say that Drimsynie offers a unique choice in the west of Scotland with its first class all-weather leisure facilities. Use it as a base to explore the area or come and enjoy what they have to offer on the park.

In general, it costs less to take a 4 night midweek break than a 3 night midweek break.

    Road Directions

    Lochgoilhead is situated just over an hours drive from Glasgow Airport. It is a small rural village, situated at the head of a sea loch (tidal lake) in stunning fjord like setting.


    
From Glasgow M8 motorway head past airport and follow signs for the Erskine Bridge. Over the Erskine Bridge follow the A82 for Loch Lomond.
Drive alongside Loch Lomond on the A82 until Tarbet (Note - There are several Tarbets in Scotland!) At Tarbet keep left onto the A83 passing through Arrochar.


    
Several miles after Arrochar you will start to climb a very significant hill. This is known as the 'Rest and be Thankful'. At the top of the hill there is a car park and viewpoint, and a small road signposted 'Lochgoilhead' .


    
Follow this road - (take care - single track!) for approximately 6 miles into the village.
