    The cottage itself features a triple aspect first floor lounge giving unrivalled views over the surrounding countryside.
    Peedie Hoose is finished to a luxurious standard. It has been built with modern technology - the heating is provided by an air source heat pump.

    We are a working farm raising prime Orkney beef cattle. You will see them in the fields all around the house and as they are friendly creatures they will probably come to have a look at you as well.

    Designed to sleep up to 4 people.

    2 bedrooms, one double with a king size bed and one twin; two bathrooms (both en-suite). One bathroom features a Jacuzzi bath and the other a rain shower.

    Kitchen with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, induction hob, oven and microwave.

    First floor lounge featuring triple aspect windows for the best views.

    Road Directions

    Kirkwall: Take the main Kirkwall-Stromness road. About 7 miles along this road, you come to Finstown (which is mid-way between the two towns). In the middle of the village you turn right along the A966 (signposted Evie). About 1 mile along this road you come to a crossroads - you will see a post-box and a bus shelter. Turn off to your right (signposted Burness). Continue down this road for about 1.5/2 miles until you come to a T junction. Peedie Hoose is on the left just before the junction. The door will be left open for you.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- On exiting the airport you turn right towards Kirkwall. On entering the town after some houses you will see a small square of grass on your left hand side. Immediately after that you turn left. At the end of the road you turn right. At the first roundabout take first exit (left). At the end of this road at the roundabout, take the first exit (left). About 7 miles along this road, you come to Finstown. In the middle of the village you turn right along the A966 (signposted Evie).     Getting there by ferry:- From Stromness Ferry Terminal: take the A965 towards Kirkwall. After approx 7 miles you enter the village of Finstown. In the middle of Finstown turn left along the A966 (signposted Evie). About 1 mile along this road you come to a crossroads - Turn off to your right (signposted Burness). Continue down this road for about 1.5/2 miles until you come to a T junction. Peedie Hoose is on the left just before the junction. The door will be left open for you.
