Getting there by aeroplane:- On exiting the airport you turn right towards Kirkwall. On entering the town after some houses you will see a small square of grass on your left hand side. Immediately after that you turn left. At the end of the road you turn right. At the first roundabout take first exit (left). At the end of this road at the roundabout, take the first exit (left). About 7 miles along this road, you come to Finstown. In the middle of the village you turn right along the A966 (signposted Evie). About 1 mile along this road you come to a crossroads - you will see a post-box and a bus shelter. Turn off to your right (signposted Burness). Continue down this road for about 1.5/2 miles until you come to a T junction. Peedie Hoose is on the left just before the junction.

Getting there by ferry:- From Stromness Ferry Terminal: take the A965 towards Kirkwall. After approx 7 miles you enter the village of Finstown. In the middle of Finstown turn left along the A966 (signposted Evie). About 1 mile along this road you come to a crossroads - Turn off to your right (signposted Burness). Continue down this road for about 1.5/2 miles until you come to a T junction. Peedie Hoose is on the left just before the junction. The door will be left open for you.
