Pictillum

Pictillum is a beautifully converted traditional stone barn located in open farm land overlooking the Strathmore valley.

Sleeping 8 the opening plan nature of the house provides a relaxing and enjoyable place to spend a holiday whilst giving you the opportunity to discover the stunning surrounding areas of Perthshire, Angus and Fife. Set in the picturesque Strathmore valley, Pictillum is an 150 year old stone barn. Recently converted and newly opened as a holiday let, the accommodation comprises of the following. 4 bedroom (2 double, 2 twin), 2 bathrooms (master bathroom includes a double ended sunken bath and an oversized shower), cloakroom/wc, mezzanine lounge which overlooks the double height dining area, utility room (including washing machine, microwave, sink and drying pulley), entrance porch, open plan kitchen/dining area which includes 3oven gas fired Aga, dishwasher, fridge freezer and seating for 8 people. Patio doors on each side of the kitchen lead into the garden which has seating for 8 and a BBQ. The floor to ceiling windows in the dining area offer excellent views over the Sidlaw hills.
There is also a secure shed/games room which includes a table tennis table and dartboard along with a large storage area for your outdoor gear i.e. bikes, skis and golf clubs. Adjoined to the shed is the car park which provides private parking for up to 4 cars.
Unfortunately, due to the open plan nature of the property, we do not allow pets at Pictillum. In addition, there is a no smoking policy throughout the property.
All our prices are inclusive of VAT and include electricity/gas, heating, bed linen and towels.

The house is available from 4pm on the date of entry and must be vacated by 11am at the end of your stay.

Depending on availability, we may be able to arrange an earlier entry, if requested in advance.

The letting period runs from Saturday until Saturday and during peak times the barn will be available for weekly rental only. Outside of these times, other letting periods may be available on request.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Full balance is payable by 6 weeks to the date of the let. A refundable deposit of £50 is also required at the time of booking to cover any damage/extra cleaning.
