Pine Tree is a secluded and exclusive one-bedroomed cottage close to centre of lovely village of Ballater. It comprises lounge with cloakroom adjoining, kitchen, family sized bedroom with king-size bed and single bed and an en-suite bathroom. Leading from patio doors in the lounge there is a decked patio with sunny aspect overlooking the garden and facing the beautiful Craigendarroch hill. The cottage is ideal for couples but sleeps 3. There is also a fold-down bed suitable for a child for which there is a small supplement.
The accommodation has the benefit of being close to the centre of the village yet being in a secluded spot. Almost all amenties are within walking distance. The Newsagents' is only about a minute's walk away as is the Tourist office and the Old Royal Railway Station. Many of the shops in the village have Royal Warrants. The village is also know for its fine restaurants and indeed the Head Chef in one of the restaurants won the award for Britains' Best Dish in 2011 for his outstanding dessert in the ITV television programme.
The area is known for its Royal connections, Balmoral Castle and the Royal Lochnagar Distillery, also fishing, golfing, hill-walking, and castle and whisky trails. There is also a lovely Golf course in Ballater as well as many in the surrounding area.
Wi-fi has recently been installed in the cottage.
