Road Directions

Pitreavie Guest House lies on the corner of the intersection of the main southern access road to Dunfermline, Queensferry Road (A823) and Aberdour Road (B916). When approached from the M90 the easiest route is to turn off at Junction Two to Dunfermline and follow the road into Dunfermline. You will cross three roundabouts then arrive at a set of traffic lights. Take the right filter lane and turn right. The entrance to the car-park is the first opening on the right.

From the nearest information centre:- Turn right onto Maygate
Turn right onto Kirkgate
Continue forward onto Bruce Street
At traffic signals turn right onto Carnegie Drive - A907 (signposted Kirkcaldy)
At Sinclair Gardens roundabout take the 3rd exit onto St Margarets Drive - A823 (signposted Forth Road Bridge)
At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Bothwell Street - A823 (signposted Forth Road Bridge, Edinburgh)
At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Hospital Hill - A823
At traffic signals turn left onto the B916 (signposted Aberdour)

Getting there by railway:- To reach us by rail, it is best to travel to Dunfermline Town Centre Train Station. We are a 5 minute walk from this station. Head up to the top of Hospital Hill Road. At the traffic lights at the very top of the hill turn right. We are the cream building you will see on the corner.
Alternatively if you can only travel to Dunfermline Queen Margaret Train Station, we would arrange to collect you from the station.

Getting there by aeroplane:- It is best to fly to Edinburgh Airport to reach us. The airport is approximately 14 miles from us, which is about a 25 minute drive.
This may cost approximately £30 in a taxi.

Getting there by ferry:- The nearest Ferry will be Rosyth Ferry Terminal.
We are approximately 4 miles from the terminal.
