    The Lodge and Studio Apartments offer flexible, contemporary and comfortable holiday accommodation. The Studio Apartments sleep two and have their own decked area, these are also dog-friendly - please advise on booking if bringing a dog.

    The Lodge is great for active breaks, and offers comfortable, flexible and affordable accommodation. It has a relaxed Scandinavian feel, with a range of beautiful contemporary en-suite rooms. WiFi and continental breakfast are included. With its own Kitchen and Bar, The Lodge is ideal for an event, party or celebration. The Lodge gives direct access to the Tarbert ferry and the Cowal Way.

    Lodge Superior Room

    The Lodge Superior Rooms are spacious and light-filled, offering flexible accommodation for 2-4 guests. They all have ensuite facilities, should you wish a bath please do specify on booking. Features include a personal balcony, king-sized bed, a comfortable sofa bed, tea and coffee-making facilities and a flatscreen TV. Views are either of Loch Fyne or Glenan Forest.

    Lodge Classic Room

    The Lodge Classic Rooms are large and provide flexible accommodation, with a king-sized bed, or twin the rooms are also perfect for a family. Features include a sofa-bed, coffee and tea making facilities, flatscreen TV and views of Glenan Forest.

    Lodge Standard Room

    The Lodge Standard Rooms are double rooms providing comfortable accommodation for two. Features include a double bed, shower room, tea and coffee making facilities, flatscreen TV and a view of Glenan Forest.

    Studio Apartments

    Contemporary and comfortable, the Studio Apartments are perfect for a holiday getaway. Each apartment sleeps two with a king size or twin bed.

    Enjoy views of Loch Fyne from your the deck and relax in the lovely open-plan living area, which has a white leather sofa, cushions and a flatscreen TV. The well-equipped kitchen has all the modern appliances you need.

    The apartments are available for short breaks as well as weekly lets and are an ideal base for exploring Argyll’s Secret Coast. All have ground-floor entry and two are fully accessible and suitable for wheelchair users. Good dogs are welcome.

    The Lodge is open from 7.30am until late daily. Check in for The Lodge and Studio Apartments is from 3.30pm onwards and check-out is at 11am.

    The Lodge Kitchen and Bar serves breakfast from 7.30am - 10am after which an all day service menu is available.

    Road Directions

    Option 1

    Take the A82 along Loch Lomond to Tarbet, then the A83 towards Inverary and Campbeltown. At Cairndow, turn left on to the A815, then at Strachur turn right on to the A886, sign posted Glendarule, turn right on to the A8003 for Tighnabruaich then continue on the A8000 towards Portavadie. At Millhouse follow the signs for the Ferry and Portavadie Marina.

     

    Option 2

    Take the A8 to Gourock, then the Western Ferries from McInroy's Point to Hunter's Quay near Dunoon. Turn right on to the A815, then shortly after leaving the 40mph area, turn left on B836, a single track road with passing places. After about 17 miles, turn right on A886, then left on A8003 towards Tighnabruaich, Kames and Portavadie. At Millhouse follow the signs for the Ferry and Portavadie Marina.

    Public Transport Directions

    Portavadie is around 80 miles by road from Glasgow Airport. The nearest rail station is at Gourock where you can catch the passanger ferry to Dunoon. It is possible to travel by bus from Glasgow to Portavadie, chnaging in Dunoon, but services are infrequent.
