Overview
Ptarmigan House is a former Victorian shooting lodge surrounded by spectacular scenery. It overlooks the golf course to the hills. It has large grounds with peace and quiet and ample parking. Enjoy a comfortable relaxing stay with all village amenities and attractions close by. We offer bike storage, drying facilities and wi-fi. We are a biker friendly establishment. Credit cards accepted.
Blair Atholl is in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and offers visitors wonderful scenery, long or short walks, hill walking, golf, mountain biking etc. It is also an ideal base for touring the Highlands. The world famous Blair Castle is approximately 1 mile from Ptarmigan House and is open daily from Easter to end Oct. We are only a couple of miles from Killiecrankie, scene of the famous battle of 1689, with its spectacular gorge. Only a few minutes north the now famous "House of Bruar", or "Harrods of the North" as it is also known. We hope you will come and spend a few days with us in our relaxing house.
