Ptarmigan Lodge 6 is a privately owned 3 bedroom holiday property. Conveniently, it is just minutes from the Hotel & Leisure Centre, But at the same time this is a quiet location.
Sitting on an elevated terrace the lodge offers picture postcard views down Loch Goil, as well s to Lochgoilhead village and the mountains of the Argyll Forest Park. A truly picture postcard view.
A single storey design you enter the lodge into the kitchen area. It then open plan to include the lounge and dining area. This open space is perfect for socialising and deal for family and friends to spend time together. To maximise the views the owners put in double doors from the lounge leading out to the spacious balcony and sitting area.
Short breaks are welcome all year round. Please nore, this is a pet free lodge.

Make use of the FREE WiFi connection in the public areas of Rob Roy Lounge & Coffee Shop just minutes away in the hotel. Also on site you will find a hairdresser, self-service launderette, Costcutters mini market, cash-machine and bike hire. On arrival all guests are given a What’s On programme so you know what is planned during their stay.
Leisure options in and around Lochgoilhead
There is no doubt that the choice of things available in the area is a major attraction. Take to the water, head off on one of the marked walking trails, hire a bike, book some adventure at the Lochgoilhead Centre or head to the all year Leisure Centre which has an excellent choice of activities.
Outdoors - Argyll Voyageur Canoes - escorted trips on Loch Goil in a 10 seater canoe. Ideal for all the family. Hire a boat from Loch Goil Cruisers or D&M Auto Marine. The Drimsynie Estate Leisure Centre
The Drimsynie Leisure Centre is 1 mile from the village and offers: 25m indoor Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Gym • Crazy Golf • Indoor Bowls • Snooker • 9-hole loch side Golf Course • Snooker • Badminton • Table Tennis • Children's Indoor Play Area. From Spring 2014 activities are being added - information to follow. Guests staying on the Estate have access to a number of leisure passes.
The Lochgoilhead Centre
If it's adventure you are looking for The Lochgoilhead Centre is in the village. Subject to availability visitors are welcome to join in with other groups. You have the option to check availability and make an online request. We will contact you as soon as possible with a booking reference to quote when you phone the payment office to confirm.
In keeping with the holiday park policy, the online prices are based on the following criteria:
Week arrivals: Friday or Monday
Weekend: Friday for 3 nights
Midweek: Monday for 4 nights
The private lodges can accept an any day arrival but the price will vary depending on the day. We will come back to you with the latest price.
The holiday park operate a dynamic pricing policy which means rates change with no notice. We will always confirm the best rate available at the time of booking which is why the online request is provisional.
The park adds an energy charge £5 per day May to October and £7.50 per day November to April to the accommodation cost.
