Take a taxi, or go to Buchanan Street Underground Station and the the underground to Hillhead. On exiting station, turn left down Byres Road to the first stoplight at Highburgh Road. Turn right, crossing Byres Road and following Highburgh Road between Tennant's Pub on right and Tinderbox Coffeehouse on left. 3rd street along is Dowanhill Street. Turn right up hill. 33 Queen's Gate, aka 107 Dowanhill Street, is 5th townhouse on left (one of only two with clematis vine framing the windows).


Getting there by railway:- From Queen Street Train Station:

From Central Train Station

Take a taxi or by Underground go to nearby St Enoch's Underground station - Hillhead. On exiting station, turn left down Byres Road to the first stoplight at Highburgh Road.

Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow Airport, a taxi to the West End is a 15 minute ride.

In a rental car, take the M8 east, go through the Clyde tunnel, and take a right at the first stoplight. One street will take you to Crow Road. Take a right onto Crow Road, and at the next stoplight take a left following Clarence Drive under the railroad bridge and then up a hill to the stoplight intersection with Hyndland Road. Go right on Hyndland Road, following it as it bends to the left. You will pass by a church and then encounter Downanhill Park on the right. Just past the lighted crosswalk, Dowanhill Street goes off to left. 33 Queen's Gate - also known as 107 Dowanhill Street - is the 5th townhouse on the left and has the number 33 over the main door.
