Overview
Attractive in appearance, this traditional stone-built ground level cottage is detached with private parking for up to four cars, its own handy outhouse to securely store belongings such as bikes, and a well-maintained open garden. Inside, the cottage has spacious accommodation, ideal for a family or small group, and can comfortably sleep up to six guests with three bedrooms. Recently renovated and elegantly decorated, the rooms are bright and complete with furnishings and facilities to suit all self-catering needs, with a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The living area is perfect for entertaining, with a TV, video and DVD player, a selection of videos as well as children's toys and books to keep everyone amused.Located in the peaceful village of Ruthwell, the cottage is ideally placed for golf, fishing and cycling, with many walks in and around the area. There is a good local bus service nearby as well as a small village pub. The Solway Coast is a short distance away with a variety of rare bird life while romantic Gretna is only 30 minutes away and boasts a wealth of attractions including the World Famous Old Blacksmiths Shop Centre.
