Raemoir House Hotel

Overview

The recently refurbished Georgian House provides exceptional levels of 2 AA Rosette and Michelin recommended cuisine, as well as outstanding hospitality and 3 AA star accommodation. In the 11 acres of maintained grounds, and behind the doors of Raemoir, you will find a world of privacy and peace. The Wood Panelled Drawing Room has open views over the lawns and hills beyond and provides an ideal place for Afternoon Teas while the atmosphere in the evening is replaced with a warm ambience when the shutters are closed and the open fires lit.

The equally impressive Dining Room, historically the Oval Ballroom, and available to use as such, is a unique feature of the building with its Victorian flocked-velvet covered walls, hung with 19th century family portraits and gilt wood mirrors. The room underlines the grandeur of days gone by with its vast windows overlooking the grounds, making it one of the most splendidly-atmospheric dining rooms in the Highlands.

The Big Fish bar is dominated by the 96lb "monster" which sits above the well stocked Whisky Cabinet and serves as a reminder that not all of them get away. Next door, the Private Sitting Room affords smaller parties the opportunity of privacy whether it be for a meeting or dining for up to 16 guests, and the larger Georgian Room accommodates up to 70 and is used frequently for weddings and corporate events.

Outside, there is our clearspan, gable end marquee which can accommodate up to 150, although it can be extended to create space large enough for almost any event. 11 Acreas of secluded wood and parkland lend themselves perfectly for exclusive private parties, outdoor activities and corporate days and comes complete with a helipad for those wishing to arrive or leave in style.

We might be close to Aberdeen- just 15 miles- but the seclusion of Raemoir means you could be a world away. The views in all directions are of nothing but hills, forest and countryside.
