River Edge Lodges are by the banks of the beautiful River Earn and overlooked by Moncreiffe Hill, which has spectacular views over Perth, the River Tay and the Lomond Hills of Fife. Free Wi Fi in all lodges.
We have the fishing rights for brown trout here, but there are many more opportunites for fishing the Earn and the Tay. There are some great walks locally that you can do from your door, for all abilities, and our central location makes us the perfect choice for exploring and touring.
Visit, Scone Palace, Glamis Castle, Blair Castle, Kellie Castle as well as some ot the smaller castles, such as Elcho Castle on the other side of Moncreiffe Hill, or Huntingtower Castle in Perth.There are loads of parks and gardens as well. There's a whole heap of golf courses in Perthshire as well, with Gleneagles just 20 minutes down the road.
Edinburgh is less than an hour away, with it's culture and city buzz. Glasgow is just over an hour away, St Andrews is 40 minutes away with its beaches and golf courses. Aviemore and Inverness are an hour or two North.
There are tennis courts and a bowling club in the village, which welcome visitors. We have a safe play area for children, and we have three sociable goats who get on very well with our hens, cockerel, rabbits, and cat. Bed linen is all provided. All lodges have wheelchair ramps.
