The Ultimate Highland Location. Riverside offers a tranquil holiday destination at the Crossroads of the Highlands. Beautiful gardens, private beach and waterfalls, a nature lovers paradise. Discounts for small parties and long stay.
Our 3 uniquely styled timber lodges each sleep six in 3 bedrooms and are well spaced and very comfortably equipped.
Riverside is open all year round and offers generous discounts for small parties, ie less £70 for 1/2 persons and £50 for 3/4 persons and £50 for those on long breaks. Short breaks are available for those "get away from it all" opportunities. Pets are very welcome and the children can enjoy the safe play area. Each Lodge has its own outdoor furniture and there are facilities for BBQ's.
Invergloy is situated where the River Gloy flows into Loch Lochy through a rocky gorge with spectacular waterfalls. There is vehicular access to the loch side where we have a private shingle beach where you may launch and moor your own boats, fishing is free of charge. We also have a private lochan stocked with rainbow trout, and can offer rod hire if desired.
The site comprises 12 acres of tended gardens containing over 300 species of rhododendron and azaleas, along with several mature specimen trees that surround the site. All this helps provide the wonderful feeling of privacy that keeps many people returning year after year.
We also offer B&B accommodation in our bungalow, which has views over the gardens to Loch Lochy and the mountains beyond through the Great Glen.
