    This modern, comfortable cottage sits on the edge of Taymouth Castle golf course in the pretty loch side conservation village of Kenmore. There is a large deck overlooking the river Tay which is ideal for outdoor dining.

    Golf, riding, loch side beach, fishing, water sports, cycling, boat hire and riverside and forest walks are all within walking distance. The village boasts excellent facilities including a Pub, bistro, restaurant, deli, gift shop and Post Office. The cottage has been recently refurbished to a very high standard and has an open plan living, dining, kitchen area that opens out onto the decking via 2 sets of patio doors. The master bedroom has a 4 poster bed and en-suite shower room. There is a large luxury family bathroom with separate shower, bath, basin and WC as well as a downstairs cloakroom. The house offers everything you would expect of a luxury holiday cottage and is in an excellent location for a family holiday. The charming village of Kenmore sits at the eastern end of Loch Tay in the Perthshire Highlands and is surrounded by some of Scotland's most stunning scenery. The area is full of history; Queen Victoria spent her honeymoon at Taymouth Castle and it was this visit that started her love affair with Scotland. Whether you are looking for an action packed outdoor activities holiday or lazy family picnics on the beach watching the children paddle, Kenmore has it all. The fantastic location of this great cottage means that once you arrive, you can park the car and forget about it until it's time to go home! The list of activities available within walking distance of the cottage is endless. If you do want to explore further afield then Glen Lyon, Scotland's longest and loveliest glen, is nearby, majestic Ben Lawers is a short distance along the loch, Fortingall village is just a few miles away and has beautiful thatched cottages and Britain's oldest tree. If shopping is your thing then don't miss a visit to The House of Bruar at Blair Atholl, known as the Harrods of the North! Golfers will be in their element! There are 2 golf courses in Kenmore and another 4 within a 30 min drive.     Road Directions

    From the A9 at Ballinluig, take the A827 heading west towards Aberfeldy. Continue on this road through Aberfeldy (10 miles) and continue following the signs for Kenmore. When you enter the village of Kenmore you will see the Kenmore Hotel in the square. To your right you will see a parking area and historic stone gateway into the Taymouth Castle Estate. Go through the gateway and you will see the cottage on the left.
