Located just a short walk from Moffat's town centre, this beautiful 18th century house overlooks the local bowling green, tennis courts, and picturesque Hope Johnstone Park.
Built in 1863, this Victorian house has been beautifully restored. Each of the homely bedrooms is tastefully decorated with either an en suite or private bathroom. The rooms all offer fantastic views of the Moffat valley and surrounding countryside and each is equipped with a TV and tea and coffee facilities, as well as many other little extras.
A delicious choice of breakfast options is served daily, so you can fill up on a hearty Scottish breakfast with all the trimmings or start the day with one of the lighter options. For all other meals, there is an excellent choice of restaurants, cafes and traditional pubs on Moffat's High Street.
Walkers will love the challenging hillwalks, while the quiet roads are great for cycling and the nearby River Annan offers first-class fishing. This is also an excellent base for touring, offering easy access to the romantic town of Gretna Green, the market town of Dumfries and the beautiful Solway Coast.
After an exciting day exploring Rockhill is the perfect place to relax.
