Situated 12 miles from the islands capital Portree, and 10 miles from Dunvegan it is set in a peaceful landscape. Ros Muire is a modern, well appointed bungalow set in six and a half acres of croft land. Enjoy walks amongst stunning scenery from the doorstep. There is a range of wildlife including seals, otters, dolphins, herons and eagles within the vicinity. The area is steeped in history and myth. Explore the lost abandoned villages, the Fairy Bridge, Duntulm Castle, Trumpan Church or visit the seat of the Macleod family at Dunvegan Castle. Inspired by the scenery around them there are a number of artists who display their work; discover them on an arts and crafts trail. There really is something for everyone. Let us help you make your visit to Skye a memorable one. We look forward to welcoming you to Ros Muire. At Ros Muire we have two double bedrooms, each with its own shower en-suite. Both rooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard. Guests also have use of the lounge from where you can enjoy the stunning loch and sea views out towards the Western Isles. The lounge is well-equipped with TV, DVD and hi-fi. We also have a range of guides, walking route books and maps to help you plan your stay, as well as local literature. CDs, DVDs and games are available if required.

On arrival enjoy a welcoming tray of tea or coffee, with home baking whenever possible.
Each morning savour a freshly prepared vegetarian breakfast which can include fresh fruit salad, cereal, yoghurts, toast and homemade preserves, fruit or savoury filled pancake parcels and a range of cooked options including eggs (any way you like them) from our own hens.
An evening meal is also available and is cooked using our own or local produce wherever we can. Please book your meal in advance, if required, letting us know of any dietary needs .
