Bus stop is at Fortrose, a quarter of a mile from the Club Site.
On the shore of a half moon bay on the Moray Firth, our club site at Rosemarkie is perfectly located with hills and woodlands on one side and Scotland’s largest firth on the other. It’s also just a short walk to the lighthouse the ideal place to watch dolphins. The nearby village of Rosemarkie is famous for its Pictish stones, housed in the Groam house museum and also has shops, pubs and a community-run beach cafe which opens during summer. The ruins of fortrose cathedral are south of the site while you can enjoy shops, galleries, a cathedral and the Victorian Market nearby Inverness. Animal lovers can take a boat from Avoch Harbour or Cromarty to see dolphins.
