Roseville Annexe

Overview

Excellent base for exploring Scotland, with good road and rail links to cities such as Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee, and the ideal place from which to explore the impressive Fife countryside and coast. Golfers' paradise, with many courses, including St Andrews, only a short drive away. Roseville Annexe is a self-contained unit attached to the owners' house. The annexe is part of the original 200 year old cottage, which has been extended to form the current property. The accommodation comprises lounge, double bedroom, kitchen, and shower room. It has its own front door, and there is ample off-road parking on the house drive.
The lounge has a tv with freeview channels, and a dvd player for playing both dvd and cd. Bed linen and towels are provided, and the kitchen contains a washer/dryer. There is also an iron and ironing board available, and a hairdryer.
Star is a quiet village, surrounded by farmland, yet only 10 minutes from the nearest railway station at Markinch, providing good links to Edinburgh, Dundee, and Perth. The Plough pub and restaurant is just 300 metres away, and provides table dining and bar snacks Wed - Sun. There are no shops in Star, but all the major supermarkets are only 15 minutes away in either Glenrothes or Leven.
Star is ideally situated in the centre of Fife, providing easy access to wonderful country walking, stunning coastal scenery, and, of course, golf courses galore.
