Road Directions
By car we are 3 miles South of Dunvegan just off the A863. Signs on the road direct patrons to the guest house. If you are coming onto the island we are 36 miles from Broadford. Follow the A87 through Broadford and after 16 miles you will approach the Sligachan Hotel. Turn left onto the A863 towards Dunvegan. We are 20 miles exactly along the A863 on a small loop road on the right behind a prominent copse of trees.Public Transport Directions
From the nearest information centre:- By car we are 3.1 miles from Dunvegan Tourist Information Centre. Turn right by the Tables Hotel towards the car park. 3 miles from the junction after a long sharp left hand bend turn left by our signs on the main road.Getting there by aeroplane:- The nearest Airport is Inverness which is about 3 hours drive away. The nearest other airports are Glasgow or Prestwick both of which are just over 5 hours drive. Car hire is available at all airports.
Getting there by ferry:- Ferry crossings are available from Mallaig to Armadale. Also a more unusual crossing can be made from Glenelg to Kylerhea during the main season.
