'A wonderful warm and welcoming haven...' guest comment May 2012
Roslin Cottage, built around 1708 and ideally placed for discerning travellers, sits on the A84 as you enter Callander town within minutes of good restaurants and shops. A short drive through Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park takes in castles, lochs, and beautiful mountains. Country walks and cycle paths nearby too. Now completely renovated the cottage offers the comforts of a modern home with 3 tastefully furnished bedrooms all ensuite offering a choice of shower/bath. We can recommend the whirlpool bath in the Kirtle room.
Twin, double, family and single room options are available. "Ben Ledi room" looks NW towards the town and its' mountain namesake can be a double or family room. A natural stone wall discovered in "The Kirtle" adds to the ambience of this room which can be a twin or kingsize. "Cherry View" is our small double or single room and looks over our secluded garden. Rooms all have flat screen televisions including DVD/MP3 options. Tea/coffee facilities are set out in our upper lounge. With so much to see in the Trossachs it is great to enjoy your day out... and then return to relax by a cosy log fire in the lounge or out on the deck in the garden.
A generous traditional Scottish breakfast is served in the comfortable dining room and cooked by Sid and Lucy, the owners. Sid is a chef (and a real "foodie") so you can also be assured of excellent vegetarian choices. Our aim is to make our home your home throughout your stay.
**Single occupancy rates are available from £40**
