From the nearest information centre:- Exit the Tourist Information Centre on Princes Street and turn right, then right again after the Balmoral Hotel on to North Bridge(A701). Take the LRT bus numbers 3, 7, 8, 29, 31,37, 47 or 49. Alight at Mayfield Gardens and cross the road into Brights Crescent, take the 1st left into Glenorchy Terrace. Correct money only accepted on the bus, £1.40 single fare or £3.50 for a day ticket.
Getting there by railway:- From Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station, go up the escalator onto Princes Street, turn right, then right again onto North Bridge (A.701) and take LRT bus numbers 3, 7, 8, 29, 31, 37, 47 or 49. Alight at Mayfield Gardens, cross the road and take the turning into Brights Crescent, followed by first left into Glenorchy Terrace.
Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport take the A8 to the city centre, then the A720 city bypass south bound. At the Straiton Junction take the A701 north bound. After approximately 3 miles and two large intersections look for a street called Craigmillar Park. Travel 4 blocks and look out for a church and Royal Blind School on the left. Take the next turning left into Mentone Gardens and right into Glenorchy Terrace.
