Road Directions
To get to Rowardennan head for Drymen on the B858 just left off the A811 Stirling Road. In Drymen turn left onto the Balmaha Road the B837. After around 4 miles you come to Balmaha. The road then narrows and heads north for around 6 miles (watch for walkers, cyclists and oncoming traffic). You will then come to the Rowardennan Hotel on the left nestling beneath Ben Lomond.Public Transport Directions
From the nearest information centre:- From Balloch TIC . Take the bus No 309 to Balmaha.From Balmaha you would require a Taxi to Rowardennan.
Getting there by railway:- From Glasgow Queen Street Station you can take a train to Balloch.
From Balloch you can take Bus Number 309 to Balmaha. There is no further public transport.
You would have to arrange a taxi from Balmaha to Rowardennan.
Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow Airport you could take the bus into Glasgow and take the Train as above.
Getting there by ferry:- From Tarbet on the West Shore of Loch Lomond until 31st October
