Overview

The main suite has stunning portrait views from three different windows.

Stay in a historic property where Lady Elspeth Campbell and other ancestors to the Duke of Argyll lived.

Relax in front of the wood-burning stove in the sitting room or take a walk in the garden. Only a few minutes walk from Inveraray town centre and its castle. The golf course is just around the corner.

A great touring base for Argyll and further afield. A warm welcome awaits you from your hosts, Susan & Howard Spicer at our beautiful and historical home. Built in 1864 by the 8th Duke of Argyll for Duncan McLullich, his Procurator Fiscal, later occupied by the Duke's niece, Lady Elspeth Campbell, before being requisitioned by the Admiralty during the war years when the Loch Fyne shores were used for naval training.

It is a fine Victorian house in the town of Inveraray on the west coast of Scotland overlooking Loch Fyne and has been extensively refurbished to provide exceptional and luxurious 4* Guest House accommodation. The town centre is only a short stroll along the lochside and offers a variety of visitor attractions and places to shop and eat. Enjoy a visit to the castle, historic jail, or maritime museum with a discount voucher available for our guests.

Rudha-Na-Craige is an excellent place to stay, relax and enjoy the comfortable surroundings, with easy access to the rest of Argyll and beyond.
