Saddlers Brae sits in a delightful position on the shore resulting in spectacular views over Loch Indaal. Its location offers visitors the ideal base from which to explore the island. Whether you are visiting Islay to enjoy its world famous distilleries, unique wildlife, spectacular scenery or just peace and quiet there is something for everyone in this beautiful part of the world.The house has a lounge/dining area with open hearth fire and a bright airy kitchen on the lower level. Upstairs comprises a large double bedroom, a bunk room and bathroom all with panoramic views.
Port Charlotte itself has a store and petrol station as well as two popular restaurants The Croft Kitchen and the highly rated Port Charlotte Hotel, encompassing public bar. Both are a few minutes walk from Saddlers Brae. The Wildlife Information Centre is also located in Port Charlotte which offers an insight into the wildlife visitors may see around the island throughout the year. A wider selection of shops and services are available in Bowmore 12 miles. The ferry terminals are at Port Askaig 16 miles and Port Ellen 20 miles. The islands airport is 16 miles.
