Overview

The spacious living areas include a large living room, sun room and 26 ft kitchen breakfast room which opens onto an outdoor seating area complete with BBQ.

Saffron" enjoys a truly unique location, situated just 100 yards from the first tee of Portpatrick(Dunskey) Golf Club and enjoying stunning views over the Irish Sea. It's just 500 yards from the centre of one of Scotland's most attractive coastal villages, Portpatrick.

Portpatrick, on the western edge of Wigtownshire, is the closest point in south west Scotland to Ireland. Located in the gulfstream, the area enjoys a mild climate which enables sub-tropical plants, trees and golfers to flourish.

Portpatrick is 90 minutes from Prestwick International Airport (just south of Glasgow). Ryanair offer 5 flights per day from/to London Stanstead, with flight time of 1hr 15mins. Accommodation: first floor; double bedroom with ensuite, double bedroom, twin bedroom, study / sittingroom which can be used as 5th bedroom using a double sofa-bed, family shower room.

Ground floor; galleried entrance hall and open plan staircase, double bedroom with a large ensuite including separate shower, living room, kitchen breakfast room, wc, kitchen including large dining area, sitting / sun room, and a utility room.

Disabled access: the house has been designed for easy access for those with limited mobility, with a ramp to the back door, and a downstairs ensuite bedroom which has both a bath, and large separate power shower.

There is a well maintained garden of around a quarter of an acre, and ample off street parking.

Facilities: well equipped, modern kitchen including; fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, airer, and drinks fridge. There is a folding cot and high chair, garden furniture, and gas BBQ. There is a 42" flat screen TV with Sky Sports & Sky+ with a DVD and other TVs in some of the bedrooms. The house also has wireless broadband.

No smoking is permitted at "Saffron".

Weeks are from Saturday to Saturday, with check-in from 1500 and check-out by 1000.

Weekends (Saturday & Sunday night) are available at a 40% discount to the weekly rate during October to February. Further nights are available for one seventh of the weekly rate. Weekends may also be booked for the months March to September, subject to availability, bookable within one month of the date of stay. Please contact us for availability of weekends including a Friday night.
Additional £30 charge for dogs.

Linen and towels are provided. Ample (off-street) parking.

Good housekeeping deposit of £300.

Prices from £600 - £1,300 per unit per week.
