If your very lucky you may catch sight of the huge sea eagles that have recently been re-introduced from their secret breeding grounds nearby. The nearby conservation areas have been set aside as sites of scientific interest because of the extensive range of wildlife and delicate flora and fauna that exists all along the Fife coast. Many rare varieties of sea and wading birds inhabit this coast where seals, dolphins and pilot whales are regularly seen swimming offshore.
