This 2 bedroom stone built cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard and provides the following accommodation
•double bedroom with en-suite bathroom
•twin bedroom with TV
•living room with wood burning stove, flat screen TV, sofa and sofa bed,
•shower room/WC off hallway
•dining kitchen with french doors opening onto a patio deck with table and chairs.

The property has a wireless broadband network available for use by visitors

Outside there is a detached converted cow byre providing a utility room with sink and washing machine and also secure storage for bikes, motorcycles and fishing tackle

There are gardens to the front and rear and a paddock to the side which is fenced and secure for children or pets.

The local area provides a wide range of recreational activities including, walking, cycling, golf, fishing and horse riding. Kielder Water and Forest Park is within 30 minutes drive and provides fantastic base for those interested in water sports, walking, cycling and wildlife.

The surrounding area is rich in historic monuments including Hermitage Castle and the Border Abbeys of Kelso, Jedburgh and Dryburgh. Hadrian's Wall is within 50 minutes drive.
Whether you are looking for a relaxing break or wishing to participate in some of the more active recreational pursuits on offer then Sandholm provides an ideal, well equipped and comfortable base to explore the Scottish Borders.
