Saorphin is a 650 acre moorland farm on the beautiful and unspoilt Ross of Mull.
Recently converted from old barns these two cottages offer spacious family accommodation, specially designed by the owners who have been coming to Mull for over 30 Years. A passage can be opened to combine the two as one unit with 18 beds and two reception rooms - ideal for larger parties.
Both cottages are well equipped and have large utility/porch areas for coats, wellies, dogs, washing and wet clothing! TV and Wi-Fi are now available. Set above Loch Assapol with stunning views over the Loch and Highlands of Mull, this is an ideal base to explore the island.
We are also now pleased to include a newly converted 1 bedroom Bothy, ideal for a couple or 2 friends.
Please note that bedlinen & towels are not provided.
On the farm loch fishing for brownies, sea trout and occasional salmon is included, all just five minutes walk and with a boat available by prior arrangement. There is sea fishing off the private beaches and headlands, with sandy bays and a great campsite. Many superb walks exist along the largely deserted southern coast where you may also see seals, otters, wild goats, eagles and a great assortment of bird life.
Bunessan village two miles away provides all day to day facilities, and we provide a guide to services, facilities and what to do on the Ross. We look forward to welcoming you.
