Lying on the sea shore and close to a sandy beach, it has uninterrupted views of the sea to the Isle Of May and beyond. On the park there is a heated swimming pool, indoor recreation room, children's play area, and a long and fascinating rocky shore to explore.

For the more energetic, the coastal walk, north to St Andrews and south to Elie, provides the opportunity of exciting exploration with endless varieties of wild flowers, sea birds and some of the most unusual geological formations. Sea angling and boat trips are at hand in Crail, while Fife Ness, the most easterly point in the kingdom is an ornithologists haven, as it provides a major stopover point for many migrating species.

Sauchope Links Caravan Park lies to the north east of Crail yet is within walking distance of the shops and harbour, where fresh fish, lobsters and crabs can be bought direct from the fishing boats. Crail is perhaps the most popular and picturesque of all the East Neuk resorts. A well-kept village with steep, narrow streets and a quaint old harbour, it is just a short drive from the main sporting facilities, ancient and interesting buildings throughout Fife.
