From the nearest information centre:- From Stromness.
Take the A965 to Kirkwall
After the bridge turnright onto the A964 to Orphir.After about 3 miles take the left fork up the hill, signposted to Scorradale . Scorralee is the second house on the right as you start to come down the hill.
From St Margarets Hope.
Follow the signs to Kirkwall. After the hospital be ready to turn left for Orphir.
Go through Orphir village, and 1 mile further on take right turn signposted Scorradale. Scorralee is the last but one houseon the left as you go up the hill.
Getting there by railway:- Scotrail from all Scottish departures to either Thurso or Wick or Aberdeen.www.scotrail.co.uk
Getting there by aeroplane:- British Airways (UK) either from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Wick or Sumburgh (Shetland) to Kirkwall (Orkney). www.britishairways.com From Kirkwall airport take exit road, turn right and continue into Kirkwall, turn left on to Clayloan, turn left at road end, first right onto A964 to Orphir, continue for approximately 9 miles, turn right at Scorradale road. We are second house on left.
Getting there by ferry:- From Stromness ferry terminal, proceed along Ferry road A965 for 2.5 miles, 4 kilometers after crossing the bridge, turn right onto the A964 sign posted Orphir, continue for 3.5 miles, 6 kilometers, turn left at Scorradale road, continue for 2 miles, 3.25 kilometers watch for house with brown roof on right just before the end of road.
