For many years the House of Machrie was the farmhouse for the principle farm on the island and even had a brush with Royalty in 1904. The House is approximately half a mile inland from the western shore.
Cairnfield is a traditional white painted former farm house built in the late 1870's and extended in the 1920s, and sleeps 10 people. There are 2 open fireplaces, and well behaved dogs are welcome. It is only a 4 minute walk to the sea,
The cottage is approximately half a mile inland from the western shore. It is set back from the road and has wonderful views across farmland and towards the sea. This is a beautifully quiet location and a great place to get away from it all.

Welcome to Balnagore Moss Estate, two farmhouse cottages and a single-storey “Arran”-style cottage on the edge of Machrie Moor, Isle of Arran. Will accommodate from 2 to 11 people. Up to two well-behaved dogs welcome.
High Dougarie Farmhouse is just north of Dougarie Lodge and is approached by a farm road about 400 metres long. The Farmhouse enjoys superb views across the Kilbrannon Sound to Kintyre and beyond and of course the surrounding hills.
