Take the A82 from Glasgow heading north up Loch Lomondside or A82 from the north to Tarbet, Loch Lomond, then A83 over the Rest and Be Thankful, then A815 into the Cowal peninsula.
Or, from Glasgow take the M8/A8 to Gourock and the ferry over to Dunoon.
If you use Western Ferries (who now run the only car ferry over to Cowal) from McInroys Point to Hunters Quay, you will arrive in Cowal around a couple of hundred yards from Sgath an Tighe. Turn left, and look for where the double yellow lines end, and then turn right up our narrow lane (signposted at the bottom.)
