Overview

Glen Affric is now a National Nature Reserve so come and enjoy its tranquillity and beauty in this detatched cottage on the banks of the River Glass. 2 Miles from Cannich. It is a perfect place to holiday with lovely walks, riding, golf, salmon lift.......and much more available within a short drive.

KEYHOLDERS INSTRUCTIONS


Directions for Fasnakyle

From Inverness take A82 to Drumnadrochit/Fort William. Go along Loch Ness until you reach Drumnadrochit and turn off right on the A831 to Cannich. In Cannich turn left at T junction past the Village Shop and carry on for about 2 miles until you reach the Fasnakyle Power Station. Take the right hand fork marked Glen Affric and about 300 yards on your left, you will find a small Lodge on the roadside, which marks the drive to Fasnakyle.

If you prefer you can continue on the A9 across the Moray Firth Bridge and at the Tore round about, turn left on the A832 to Beauly. Go through Beauly on the Inverness road and after quarter of a mile turn right on the A831 to Cannich.

The key to the cottage will be in the door and you are welcome to arrive anytime after 3.30 p.m. If you have any problems please can you telephone Mrs Kathy MacLennan on 01456 415302.


Extra Charges

•Please can you read the electricity meter in the box beside the door when you arrive and then again when you leave and make a note in the book provided. The cost of the electricity is 10p per unit and I would be grateful if you could leave this in the box on the dining room table.

•Pets £10 per week extra and please do not allow them in the bedrooms or on the chairs.


General Remarks

•Linen Duvets and pillows are provided but please bring your own covers, sheets and towels.
•2 bags of coal are provided free.
•Please vacate the cottage by 10.30 a.m.
•The nearest petrol stations are at Drumnadrochit and Beauly
•Post Office/Grocery Store in Cannich (2 miles)
•Restaurants - Tomich, Cannich, Struy, Glen Urquhart
•To avoid condensation, please could you leave the towel rail on in the bathroom especially overnight when the window is shut.
•On Thursday morning please could you take your green wheelie bin to the top of the slope by the 2 storey cottage. The dustcart usually comes about 10 a.m.

The owners cannot accept liability for any injury, loss or damage to any persons or their possessions. If due to reasons beyond the control of the owner the premises are unavailable the only liability is the return of the deposit and the rent.
