The nearby village of Fortingall sits at the entrance to the beautiful Glen Lyon; Scotland's longest and loveliest glen, and the picturesque conservation village of Kenmore is just three miles east of Shoreside. For those wishing to explore further afield, Edinburgh is only 1.5 hours drive away and Glasgow 2 hours.

Throughout Historic Perthshire there is a myriad of attractions including castles, historic homes, distilleries, potteries and galleries to explore. Shoreside offers the perfect balance between days of adventure and exploration and other occasions when a glass of wine and a view to savour is all that is required.

Water sports enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunities that Loch Tay offers with sailing, canoeing and boat hire all available locally. Golfers are also well served with a wide range of fine courses, with two courses in nearby Kenmore.
