Shoreside, Loch Tay

Shoreside, is a new luxury holiday home development, nestled on the north shore of Loch Tay, on the edge of the village of Fearnan.

With its contemporary architect designed mews houses, breathtaking views and private shingle beach with loch access, this must be one of the most outstanding holiday destinations in the upper Tay valley.

The cleaver use of an 'upside down' design gives every property a balcony with stunning views over Loch Tay and the surrounding hills. The entire first floor of each property is dedicated to open plan living and the thoughtful use of glazing and French doors floods these spacious areas with natural light. Every house has its own unique identity and style and considerable thought has gone into creating a luxurious welcome for all of our guests. Modern, well equipped kitchens, contemporary stylish bathrooms and luxury furnishings are a common feature in each and every house and whichever one you choose, we are sure it will exceed your expectations. The high standards are reflected in the 4 star grading that has been awarded to each property by Visit Scotland.

The houses sleep between 4 and 6 and have both en-suite and family bathroom facilities. Luxury bed linen and towels are provided. All balconies are furnished so that you can make the most of the amazing views.

We are currently offering a 20% discount on all bookings taken before 29th March 2012. Short breaks start at £308 and full weeks from £420, after discount.

This area of Highland Perthshire is renowned for its stunning scenery and amidst the natural beauty, there are a host of things to do and places to visit. The nearby village of Fortingall sits at the entrance to the beautiful Glen Lyon; Scotland's longest and loveliest glen, and the picturesque conservation village of Kenmore is just three miles east of Shoreside. For those wishing to explore further afield, Edinburgh is only 1.5 hours drive away and Glasgow 2 hours.

Throughout Historic Perthshire there is a myriad of attractions including castles, historic homes, distilleries, potteries and galleries to explore. Shoreside offers the perfect balance between days of adventure and exploration and other occasions when a glass of wine and a view to savour is all that is required.

Water sports enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunities that Loch Tay offers with sailing, canoeing and boat hire all available locally. Golfers are also well served with a wide range of fine courses, with two courses in nearby Kenmore.

Hill walkers are spoilt for choice with many outstanding walks and seven Munros within ten miles, including Ben Lawers and Schiehallion . The Loch Tay Forest Park is also close by and provides a variety of trails, which are perfect for more leisurely walks, mountain biking and horse riding.
