Overview

Situated on a lush wooded peninsula, on the Sound of Sleat and bathed in the warm wind and waters of the Gulf Stream in the south end of the legendary beautiful Isle of Skye.

Views over to Mallaig, Knoydart - 'the last wilderness' and down to Eigg and Ardnamurchan Point.
Rubha Phoil - Gaelic for Paul's Point - named after Paul MacDonald who made landfall here after escaping from the Massacre of Glencoe.

A well situated site strategically positioned close to the Mallaig - Armadale ferry point.

Ideal for kayaks, snorkelling or just exploring rock pools. Two shallow bays, Armadale and Ardvasar, both one minute away.

Three clan castles nearby, steeped in history.
Sea Fari - fast rib boat whale and dolphin spotting trips, moored close by.
Woodland site - 10 Tent Pitches at £7.50 per person, Children under 16 £3.50 per person.
Family campsite -strictly no alchohol or motorised sea scooters!
Discount for travellers not using a car.
No dogs - we have an elderly ex feral cat with attitude!
Compost Toilets - an opportunity to learn about 'peak phosphate'!
Shower.
Communal Social Area with Campfire site.
Rocky Beach Area with small cave and campfire . Rope access or rocky walk round shoreline.
Childrens Play Area. Children to be accompanied at all times.
Forest Garden Walk. A peaceful and gentle stroll to the headland shelter with mountain views.
Wildlife Hide on the headland overlooking our two islands, ideal for spotting seals, seabirds and otters. Dolphins and sometimes a whale or basking shark has been seen from here, too!
Our new Alchemy Centre, learn about making compost and the importance of worms to our soil, [ maybe meet Earnest] and vermiculture.
Faerie Glade Walk to the enchanted tree. A chance to learn how to make your own felt faerie.
Herb Spiral and Keyhole Garden -- permaculture basics!
Small Shop for 2nd hand books, herb salads, midge oils, soaps, herbal teas, bits and bobs.
A day long gardening/intro permaculture course including lunch is available at the cost of £40 p/person. *Minimum of 3 people required
