    The Skye White House is a beautiful newly renovated two-bedroom self-catering cottage on the stunning Isle of Skye, Scotland, United Kingdom.  Located towards the South of the Island in Sleat, our pretty cottage enjoys breath-taking views across Knock Castle and the Sound of Sleat. The cottage is conveniently located being only a 20 minute drive from the Skye Bridge – Inverness is only a 2 hour drive, with London 5 hours door to door, ask us how.

    Sleeping 4 (one double and one twin bedroom), the cottage is beautifully furnished throughout, using a Scandinavian-inspired selection of natural materials including solid oak, soft wool blankets, plus two wood-burners.

    Road Directions

    The easiest way to reach the Isle of Skye is via the Skye Bridge. It is approximately 2 hours drive from Inverness airport (FlyBE & Easyjet) along the stunning shores of Loch Ness and about 4 hours from Glasgow airport (BA & Easyjet). It is a 5 hour drive from Edinburgh. There is also a train to Fort William and the Kyle of Lochalsh.

     

    From London to the Isle of Skye and the house is approximately 5 hours – ask us how. From the Skye Bridge it is less than 20 minutes to the house.

    The Isle of Skye can also be reached by ferry from Mallaig to Armadale. It takes only a few minutes to reach the house from the ferry port at Armadale. Please see http://www.calmac.co.uk for further details.

    Between easter to the middle of October it is possible to take a car ferry from Glenelg on the mainland to Kyle Rhea on Skye. The ferry is the last manually operated turntable ferry in Scotland and is run by the Isle of Skye Ferry Community Interest Company ensuring a pleasant crossing amidst the stunning scenery.
