Awarded "4 Gold stars " from VisitScotland and the AA. We are a 2AA rosette restaurant with rooms. Our menu offers the finest of Scottish beef, lamb and vension, as well as sea fish from our coastal waters.

We offer you the true taste of Scotland, great food and a memorable stay.
Located in Spean Bridge near Fort William, ideal for exploring the West coast. Russell's at Smiddy House...a restaurant with rooms giving you fine food, fine wine and great hospitality. Located in the village of Spean Bridge, at the base of Ben Nevis, making an an ideal base for touring the west coast of Scotland.

With more than 25 years experience in the Hospitality Industry, Russell's gives you a unique experience. Co-owners Robert & Glen offer you a high standard of personal service and Russell's is one of the few 2AA rosette restaurant in Lochaber.
Our menu is freshly prepared by our team of Chefs bringing you the finest of Scottish produce, shellfish from the west coast, highland lamb, beef and venison.

Our 4 en-suite rooms are characterful of a traditional Highland dewelling. All rooms are located on the first floor, tastefully decorated and well appointed. Each room is individually decorated with warm calming colours, luxury towels and bed linen. Soaps and toiletries are from our local "Highland Soap" shop located in the village and throughout the Highlands.

Our Garden room is the perfect place to relax and unwind whilst perusing the evening's menu. Pre dinner drinks and coffee are often served in the garden room making your stay even more enjoyable.

Car parking is availbale at the rear of house and for those travelling by train, we can arrange to collect you from Spean Bridge railway station, located in the centre of the village.
