Public Transport Directions

Getting there by aeroplane:- Having landed at Sumburgh Airport, you will find the hire car operators in the terminal building where you can pick up your pre booked hire car. The cars are situated outside the terminal building to the left hand side. Instructions and directions will be given to you by the hire car staff.

Spiggie House is situated 15 minutes drive away from Sumburgh Airport.

To get there take the main road (A970) north, heading towards Lerwick. After about 10 minutes driving you will come up over the hill and down into Dunrossness. You will see Mainlands shop and petrol station on the lefthand side of the road.

Carry on driving for another minute and you will see a junction on the lefthand side with a signpost for Scousburgh and Bigton.
