The site is in an ideal central position for touring the Highlands and Islands, covering a wide range of leisurely pursuits and activities. The Islands of Skye, Mull, lona and many more are reasonably accessible as are numerous mainland locations. Onich is an ideal base for discovering the magic this part of Scotland has to offer.
For the energetic, the ski and climbing areas of Glencoe and the Nevis Range, are within 30 minutes car journey. The rambler and mountain biker is spoilt for choice also, with many official designated routes.
Alternatively, spend some time just relaxing by your cottage taking in the view or stroll down to the secluded rugged beach at the foot of our site. Springwell lies in an exceptional area for wildlife and is within a Special Area of Conservation.
