Gill and Dave welcome you to St. Anthonys which is situated above Fort William, and commands spectacular views across Loch Linnhe to the Ardgour Hills beyond.
Spacious bedrooms all offer en-suite facilities, complimentary tea & coffee, television and hairdryers, including the popular suite which is ideal for families or small groups. The light and airy dining room offers panoramic views of the loch and mountains, and guests are welcome to use the garden seating to continue enjoying the scenery. Drying and storage facilities make it ideal for cyclists and walkers. Situated off the main road, it is quiet with ample parking for several cars, but within easy reach of the town centre, taking only ten minutes to walk. The bus and train services are easily accessible. St. Anthonys is also ideally placed for Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK, Glen Nevis, the Road to the Isles, Glencoe, the West Highland Way and much more. You will be sure of a warm welcome at St. Anthonys, which has three ground floor double bedrooms, and a spacious suite. Our double rooms each have a double bed and are en-suite, with one room commanding beautiful views across Loch Linnhe to the Ardgour Hills, and have hospitality trays, television and hairdryer. Our suite consists of one large en-suite room with a double bed, a single bed and a lounge area with TV, with an interconnecting room with two single beds. Ideal for families or small groups. Although we have no single rooms available, we are willing to let a double room for a small supplement.
Pleasantly situated off the main road, it is in an elevated position and offers spectacular views of the area surrounding the town. St. Anthonys welcomes walkers, cyclist and climbers, and has drying and storage facilities.
Fort William and the surrounding area offers a range of activities, including skiing, snowboarding, cycling, climbing, fishing, walking, or just enjoying the scenery - there is something for everyone. A variety of festivals, championships and competitions take place throughout the year, so there is always something to do and see.
The town has a wide range of good restaurants, pubs and cafes to suit every taste, and there are a variety of shops to browse around.
The airports at Glasgow and Inverness offer good transport links to Fort William, or travel by bus or train, including the Caledonian Sleeper train from London.
St. Anthonys offers a good, comfortable base for a short or extended stay. Day trips could include the Isle of Skye, Inverness, Oban, Aviemore, or a ride on the Jacobite Steam Train to Mallaig (the Harry Potter train). The Caledonian Canal and the Neptune Staircase are only a few minutes' drive away. Cruises on Lochs Linnhe, Ness and Lomond are all possible. Or take the Gondola on the Nevis Range which is open all year round and enjoy coffee at the Snowgoose Restuarant while enjoying the spectacular views at over 2,000ft.
