Stewartlea Stables

This is a unique stable courtyard conversion in Ayr's conservation area, Stewartlea Stables makes an ideal home for a relaxing holiday.

Easily accessible from Prestwick or Glasgow Airports, or by ferry from Ireland, historic Ayrshire offers the best of Burns country, spectacular coastline scenery and rolling farmland to explore. Ayrshire is a golfers' paradise, with the famous Troon and Turnberry courses to test your skills, and many others, both private and public, links or parkland, in the vicinity. There are tennis courts near-by, indoor swimming at the Citadel Leisure Center, a ten pin bowling alley in town and Ayr Racecourse for racing enthusiasts.

The Burns Festival, Ayr Gaiety Theatre, the Flower Show, Largs Viking Festival and many more attractions are to be found in the area. Rozelle House & coffee shop, Galleries and Gardens are worthy of a visit while Culzean Castle and the Burns National Heritage Park are not to be missed.

Your holiday home is quality accommodation all on one level in a tranquil corner 10 minutes from the town centre. The new sunroom opens on to a patio in the secluded walled garden, while our well equipped kitchen always has tea, coffee and a few basic essentials in the cupboard for you. Both bedrooms are large enough to put up the extra foldaway bed if required and a cot is available. It is a 'home from home' with personal touches throughout and some books, games, DVD, television and radio for your use. Heating, electricity and bed linen are included in the price, however there is a small charge for towels.

A good local corner shop and post office is a 10 minute walk away down at the shore. 'Eating Out' is a joy with high quality restaurants, friendly pubs and country inns to try, several quality establishments are within easy walking distance from the house including The Chestnuts, Abbotsford and Carrick Lodge Hotel.

Short Breaks on request.
