There can be no more breathtaking sight than the mist lift off the loch to mark the dawning of a new day.
In keeping with its unique situation and character, many of the original period furnishings have been retained to complement the timeless ambience that is Stonefield Castle.

Friday 29th December
Arrive at the Castle to a roaring log fire and settle into your room, before enjoying your first dinner at Stonefield Castle.
Thursday, 30th December
Enjoy a morning in front of a roaring log fire and a glass of warming mulled. Take a walk around Barmore Island to build up an appetite for our Scottish evening. A Dinner buffet is served from 6.30pm until 9pm with a wee dram to warm your cockles. Scottish country dancers will entertain you during the evening, with an opportunity to have a go yourself!
New Years Eve
A full Scottish breakfast is served from 8am to 10am in our restaurant where you will see the stunning sunrise over Loch Fyne. Join the local Gun Club for a morning of clay pigeon shooting or enjoy a day of treasure hunting around the island and Castle grounds with a light lunch of soup and stovies. Champagne and canapes are served in the cocktail bar at 7pm. Our gourmet dinner will be served at 7.30pm followed by a full evening of Scottish Highland Ceilidh dancing with will take you to the bells at midnight. Our pipe major will play the highland drones and drink from the Quaich with a wee dram to bring in 2012 followed by Auld Lang Syne.
New Years Day
Brunch is served from 10am to 1pm. The day is yours with soup and sandwiches available by the fire during the afternoon. Dinner this evening will be a 6 course special gourmet dinner with accompanying wine at each course and entertainment. The evening commences at 7.30pm prompt.
Sunday January 2nd
Enjoy a full Scottish Highland breakfast before making your journey homeward. Bid farewell to our "Hielan Hame" and ahste ye back till we meet again.
