    Getting there

    The village of Strone is easily accessible by road, rail, air or bus.

    It is just over an hour by car from Glasgow or Prestwick Airports.  From Glasgow there are two routes - both equally stunning.

    Two miles south of Gourock is the Western Ferry which takes 20 minutes to reach Hunter’s Quay—about five miles from the cottage.

    The road  route from Glasgow is spectacular, taking in Loch Lomond, Loch Long, Loch Fyne and Loch Eck and finally to Strone on the shore of Holy Loch.
