Luxurious home with spectacular views over Loch Fleet. Tranquil surroundings minutes from internationally renowned golf courses and nature reserves.
We are at the hub of the Highlands. Strathview is ideally situated for touring the Northern Highlands, anywhere can be visited on a day trip, even Orkney. There are so many things to do in this most beautiful area. Dornoch just 4.5 miles away with it's world renowned golf courses, lovely little cathedral and award winning beach. Golspie is 5 miles away boasting a world class mountain bike trail and the infamous Dunrobin Castle.
For the energetic there are spectacular scenic walks, fishing, golfing and cycling. Alternatively, there are panoramic vistas to paint or photograph. Nature lovers will appreciate the RSPB reserve of Loch Fleet and contemplate the birds and seals basking on the sand banks. You could even be fortunate enough to see the ospreys as they wing their way to the loch in search of food. Search for your ancestors in the deserted glens of Sutherland; find the ruined townships of the clearances.
We can offer you warm hospitality in lovely surroundings, sit on the deck and look over Loch Fleet and on over the Dornoch Firth while the rabbits nibble the grass in the garden and the buzzards circle lazily overhead. Swallows and finches dart around and the cuckoo chick calls for more food.
If you are exceptionally lucky you might catch a glimpse of the little deer who wander into the garden in the early morning mists to graze here. If it sounds idyllic, it is. Peace and quiet and yet situated just off the A9 trunk road.
Your room is warm and comfortable. You can read, watch television, view a film or play a board game - we provide them for you. Sit out on the deck with a glass of wine and just look in awe at the panorama laid out before you; we even have a midge eater on hand for those pests the swallows missed.
The rooms are provided with ipod docking stations and there is free wifi connection if you just can't leave that laptop at home.
Rooms are normally ready for new occupants between 4pm and 6pm or by prior arrangement. We ask that you vacate your room by 10 am on the day of your departure
