Road Directions

Approaching Edinburgh on the A1 go straight through first roundabout coming into Edinburgh (with Asda store on left - signed "Portobello"). At the next traffic lights turn right (Signed "Joppa" ). Turn first left into Brunstane Road, down to the bottom, cross the Abercorn Terrace junction and we are on the left. Approaching Edinburgh by a route other than the A1 proceed East on the South city bypass(A720) all the way to the Oldcraighall junction where you take the turnoff left for Edinburgh East and North and thereafter follow instructions as for the A1.

Public Transport Directions

From the nearest information centre:- Cross Princes Street and walk to your left - look up at the numbers on the bus stops until you see the bus stop for the 26 bus. This will deposit you at St. Philips Church, Joppa just at the corner of our street. The service has a five minute frequency and will whisk you from city centre to our street in a mere fifteen minutes but you need EXACT MONEY so have a pocketful of change!!

Getting there by railway:- From the train station you can either catch a taxi or
take the bus - take the Princes Street exit, cross Princes Street and
walk to your left - look up at the numbers on the bus stops until you
see the bus stop for the 26 bus. This will deposit you at St. Philips Church, Joppa just at the corner of our street. but you need EXACT MONEY so have a pocketful of change!!

Getting there by aeroplane:- You can catch the airport coach to the City centre. See

Get off the coach at Haymarket (The driver will announce the stop) and from
the same bus stop the 26 bus takes you to our street corner
