From the nearest information centre:- From the Linlithgow Tourist Information Centre, cross over the street to the West Lothian County Buildings. There is a side street, which leads up to the Police Station and once you reach the end of this street, there are a number of steps leading up to a walkway below the main railway line. Turn left at the top of the steps and follow the walkway until you climb the steps to street level. Strawberry Bank House will now be in front right of your position at the top of the stairs.
Getting there by railway:- Strawberry Bank House is within two to three minutes walk from Linlithgow station, which is on the main line between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport take A8 & follow signs for M9 to Stirling & Forth Road Bridge. Stay on the M9 and leave at Junction 3. At top of slip road turn left onto A803 to Linlithgow. After a few minutes you will come to a small roundabout. Go round the small roundabout and onto the next larger roundabout. Turn left, then sharp right at traffic lights under railway bridge. Travel up hill on Back Station Road & turn right immediately before canal bridge. Continue down Strawberry Bank Road until road levels out into Avon Place. Strawberry Bank House is the middle of 3 large houses.
