From Lochmaddy TIC follow the A867 to Clachan then at the T junction turn right towards Bayhead. About 1 mile after Bayhead shop and filling station take the road on the left signposted Paible Circular Road. Struan House is the first house on teh left by the shore of Loch Sandary.

By rail: To Oban from Glasgow Queen Street station to connect with the Cal Mac ferry to Lochboisdale in South Uist then by car or bus to North Uist.
By air: From Glasgow or Inverness to Benbecula airport (c15 miles away) . Drive north following signs for Lochmaddy to the T junction at Clachan. keep straight on towards Bayhead. About 1 mile after Bayhead shop and filling station turn left at the signpost for Paible Circular Road. Struan House is the first house on the left by the shore of the loch.
By ferry from Lochmaddy (about 15 miles away). Follow the A867 to Clachan then turn right at the T junction and follow the A865 as above.
By ferry from Lochboisdale drive north and follow the instructions as above for the airport
